You already know the traditional method of obtaining the cube of a number, where you multiply the same number thrice. However, this would takes a lot of time even using criss-cross method of multiplication. In this video tutorial, we will see how to obtain the cube of number using a very interesting mathematical shortcut with its roots from Vedic Maths.

The following video explains how to obtain the cube of any 2-digit number.

In order to use this shortcut, it is important that you know the cube of the number atleast till 10. There is another article here on the same topic where I have explained in greater detail on how to obtain the cube of a number with a number of examples.
